Nº 11 is a sculptural stool by Boca do Lobo, defined by a metal frame created through the meticulous process of metal casting. The piece embodies the visual language of the surrealist movement, translating its dreamlike distortions into functional design. Its wide arched back, supported by spindles that appear to ‘drip’ into solid metal, gives the stool a striking artistic presence. The gracefully curved wooden legs, finished in deep black lacquer, create an illusion that challenges conventional physics, adding an element of mystery and intrigue.
